Duo exhibition Gonggrijp & Tolmeyer [drawings]
A cheerfuly grime comment about the ups and downs in healthcare.
A tribute to the fathers of both artist. Both were dressed in a doctor’s uniform but from different perspectives. The journalist Gonggrijp slipped into a laboratory with the aim of finding the truth about the death of a patient. The ship’s waiter Tolmeijer accompanied his friend, the ship’s doctor, through the port cities, to examine the physical ‘health’ of the girls to verify them as a ‘save heaven’ for the sailors.
Their multiple Pink Ripp-Off [mindful to death] was launched by Karin Spaink, writer and expert on quackery.
